Airport Connections

It takes approximatel (45 minutesy) priced at USD 31 from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to the Shangri La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Buget taxis that require purchase of a coupon are also available. Coupons can be purchased at any budget taxi registered counter in the airport arrival hall. Beside that, Taxis are available widely in the city and at designated taxi stands.

By Express Train

Guests may also ride on the KLIA Express Train. The non-stop journey between KL Sentral and KLIA takes only 28 minutes. KLIA Express departs from both terminals every 15 minutes, on the hour and every quarter of an hour, seven days a week. A one-way ticket on KLIA Express is approximately USD 10. Travel time on the KLIA Express train is 28 minutes from the airport to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral it is a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel. Taxi coupons are available at any registered counter at the arrival hall of KL Sentral, costing approximately USD5.

By Trains

Extensive light rail train services are available on the KTM Komuter, Putra LRT, and KL Monorail. KLIA Express provides uninterrupted train service from the KLIA International Airport to KL Sentral, which is a 20-minute taxi ride from the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

By Buses

Public buses are widely available within the city at designated public bus stops. Almost all buses are air-conditioned and equipped with and automate ticket vending machine.
